Lockdown has been a great opportunity to reflect and refine my ideas. Although the academic year ended prematurely, I’ve used this as a chance to act and develop ideas without the stress of impending deadlines and multitasking between subjects. This led to the redevelopment of my residential building this year which I didn’t feel was fully developed at the time of submission.
After redesigning this part of the scheme, I also looked back into site placement and put together a large model of the site and the buildings. Without the pressure of time, I took a day to carefully consider the scheme and the drawings that would portray the key aspects of the scheme. I will use the rest of my time in Lockdown to finalise these drawings to resolve my final university project.
